Jen Brown joins Ki

We're thrilled to welcome Jen Brown and her necromantic sapphics to Ki. Jen will be represented by Fabienne Schwizer. Fab says: "Jen is such a skilled writer, with evocative and incisive prose. This project in particular ticks so many of my personal boxes, and I can't wait to throw it at everyone I know."

Jen Brown (she/her) weaves otherworldly tales about Black,queer folks righteously wielding power. An Ignyte Award nominated speculative fiction author and Clarion West alum (Novel Workshop '25), her short stories have appeared in Reactor, Fantasy Magazine, FIYAH Literary Magazine, and elsewhere. Her stories also appear in collected anthologies like We’re Here: The Best Queer Speculative Fiction (2021) and Sentir la revolución.
