Please give a warm welcome to A.E. Haskett and her gorgeous upmarket historical fantasy in the vein of Nicola Griffith and Shelley Parker-Chan. She will be represented by Fab, who is thrilled to have found a queer Arthurian story to fall in love with, one that is equal parts lyrical and sexy. A.E. Haskett was raised by career musicians who had strong opinions about art as a profession, so she studied business instead. This pragmatism led her straight into developing software by day and writing fantasy by night (well, more like the early morning — she is always in bed by 9 p.m.). She has spent much of her life in motion, from living out of a van to exploring chunks of the U.S., Europe, and Asia. She rarely stays in one place for long, always chasing new climates, different ways of living, and the fresh perspective that comes with them. When she isn't reading or writing, she loves hiking with her partner, sewing, and hanging out with her (very soft) cat.
