Mikaela Sircable and Nikki Jones join Ki

Ki is excited to welcome Mikaela and Nikki to the team. They're represented by Miriam.

Mikaela brings a fast-paced, heart-stealing Young Adult Fantasy (with horror nuances) about a grieving girl braving the nine circles of hell for a second shot at life, with the help of a handsome yet cryptic samurai. She’s a US-based writer/editor with a BA in Editing and Publishing. She has professionally edited books, homeschool curriculum, marketing blogs, and more. As a biracial Japanese-American raised in Texas, Mikaela proudly claims the influence of many beautiful cultures in her life and writing.

Nikki brings a soul-brimming, unique and voice-y Middle Grade Fantasy about an anxious, perfectionist girl solving a string of suspicious poisonings at her potion academy, with the help of fellow magic outcasts. She’s freelance writer from Queens, New York, and an active member of The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She currently lives in Virginia, where she earned a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and an A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies.
