We are over the moon to welcome AJ Fitzwater to the Ki roster. They will be represented by Fab who is obsessed with their latest manuscript, a queer speculative fiction novel rooted in New Zealand over the centuries. It's a truly special one and we can't wait to share it with publishers and audiences soon!
AJ Fitzwater is a punk unicorn who lives between the cracks of Ōtautahi Christchurch, New Zealand. Their short fiction has appeared in venues such as Clarkesworld, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Small Wonders, and Fireside Fiction. They are the author of rodent pirate escapades in The Voyages of Cinrak the Dapper, and the WW2 land girls shape-shifter novella No Man’s Land. They are a Sir Julius Vogel Award winner, graduate of the Clarion SFF Writers Workshop 2014, and were Artist in Residence at The Christchurch Arts Centre 2021. Their hair colour is subject to change.
