A.J. Borisade joins Ki

We're thrilled to have A.J. Borisade join Fabienne's list at Ki with A Dream of Flying. A.J.'s book is a dark contemporary fantasy drawing heavily on his Yoruba heritage. It hauntingly explores grief and depression, tensions between worlds and religions and the power of storytelling through a Percy Jackson-esque quest on behest of the Orisas. Ayomide John Borisade (writing as A.J. Borisade) is a child of two worlds but currently calls San Diego home. He enjoys writing fictional stories where the difference between hero and villain is just a matter of perspective. When not writing, you can typically find him indoors enjoying the mundane things that give him life or outdoors kicking a soccer ball around.
