Xueting C. Ni

­Xueting C. Ni is a writer, literary curator, speaker and cultural consultant. Her journey has given her a unique insight in bridging East and West, and she has written extensively on Chinese cultures and their place in western consciousness over the last decade and a half; working with major media and organisations such as the BBC, Tor and Confucius Institute, to improve understanding of Sinophone heritage and innovations in arts and entertainment. Xueting’s published books include From Kuanyin to Chairman Mao: An Essential Guide to Chinese Deities and Chinese Myths, the curated collections Sinopticon: A Celebration of Chinese Science Fiction and Sinophagia: A Celebration of Chinese Horror. She lives just outside London with her partner and their cats, all of whom are learning Mandarin.
