Phoenicia Rogerson is altogether mortal with a rather less checkered past than Hercules. After a decade of not being able to find his complete story on bookshelves, she decided to pull her socks up and write it herself. Her debut novel, Herc, was published in August 2023, followed by Aphrodite in 2025, both to great reviews. Her third novel, Isolde, will be published in November 2026, all by HQ.

Phoenicia won a Somerset Maugham Award in June 2024.
